Overhaulin'
Unintentionally, but to the benefit of the project and my personal sanity, RënvironsAR had to be completely overhauled from the base up. However, not everything is downhill. I, (Nextrevit) got my hands on some new tech, and combining several packages together, have made the Rënvirons Project (MKIII) and officially ceased development on RënvironsAR (MKII, v1.8.5 and older are now archived).
- With this overhaul, there are cons, but a lot more pros.
Pros:
- Floating Origin is now implemented along with a full multiplayer solution. This was a long time goal for the project and glad that it's now somewhat complete.
- New, more detailed, 100% homespun truck model and soon-to-be sedan.
- All vehicles are now going to be Electric, and there is now a full volume slider for the game.
- Cleaner UI and more dynamic settings, such as Volume, Render Distance, Quality settings, and a (sparsely populated) widget panel.
- Project now gets automatic updates when they are rolled out. (Powered by PatchKit)
Cons:
- One vehicle, the '22 Yitmiza Grit. (As of the time posting this)
- No dedicated server yet.
- No nuclear ballistic launch missiles.
That's all for now, the project is more open for suggestions with this new release, and all suggestions are read.
